Region 20 August Black Belt Class
Each month, Masters, Black Belts, and Cho Dan Bos come together for a dedicated training session. These gatherings are a time for advanced students and instructors to train side by side, refining their skills and deepening their understanding of our incredible martial art.
This month brings a unique and exciting opportunity as our Masters from Los Angeles are hosting our masters and black belts for a day full of training! The Los Angeles area Ko Dan Ja and Mountain Lion Tang Soo Do are excited to host Region 20 for our August Black Belt Class.
We have some great sessions planned by our Kodanja, including topics on countering and defensive blitzing and Split Second Survival. Please be sure to bring water, sunscreen/sun protection, and shoes as we will be on grass. See you all there!

Region 20 September Black Belt Class

This month our masters will be working on a masters presentation for our 2026 Regional Championships. While our masters are hard at work, our black belts will be getting ready for our upcoming tournament. They will be perfecting their techniques, refining their forms, and sharpening their fighting skills. Please bring all competition items including weapons and gear. Don’t forget your water and shoes!

2026 Region 20 Regional Championships
ALL STUDENTS, including Tiny Tigers/Little Dragons, (GUP) color belts and (DAN) black belts are encouraged to participate in this fun and enriching annual experience. Categories include Individual Forms, Weapons Forms, Team Form and Creativity competition.
In addition, Region 20 takes great pleasure in announcing our special guest this year is our very own newly promoted Boo Kwan Chang Nim Larry D’Ercole – Assistant Grandmaster of the World Tang Soo Do Association. His presence at our regional event is one of his first official appearances in his new role.
